Andrea Steinlechner Having graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Chinese Medicine from the University of Portsmouth, Andrea was invited to complete a postgraduate clinical placement in China, at the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Andrea is currently studying for a masters degree in Chinese Herbs in York. Andrea is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). Prior to studying acupuncture she worked with the maternal health research at the LSHTM (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine). With a particular interest in woman’s health and all aspects of gynaecology Andrea has undertaken research in the treatment of breech presentation. She has also undertaken post-graduate training in the treatment of gynaecological disorders, including menstrual disorders, pregnancy, post-partum depression, fertility and IVF assistance as well as stress, anxiety, insomnia and digestive disorders. Andrea currently organises musculo skeletal CPD training at the ALO Clinic, where she is also a guest speaker. Andrea is currently attending a post graduation course in Neurology and Cardiology at the prestigious Penn Uni. Andrea's areas of special interest include:
Andrea is Italian and grew up in Brazil but she has been in England for over 15 years. Andrea's awareness in health and wellbeing came from her family's love for cooking, her active interest in sports and her early passion for animals and nature. |

Verity Barltrop Verity’s background is in nursery and NHS. She Is CRB checked and has extensive experience working with children. Verity is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and has a BSc (Hons) from the University of Westminster. Verity has undertaken extensive research into the effects of acupuncture on weight loss and appetite for obesity. She has taken post graduate training in sports injuries and paediatric eczema. Due to her passion for acupuncture Verity continuously improves and updates her skills through conferences, lectures, courses, seminars and personal reading and research. When not working, Verity enjoys practicing tai chi and qi gong exercises and spending time with her family and friends. |

Andre Oliveira Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Andrè qualified in 1998 from the University of East London. His background as a National State Team Gymnast and his degree and post-graduate diploma in Sport Science, represents a valuable base for his knowledge in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. He has a wide range of clinical experience including orthopaedics, elderly care, sports injuries and post surgical care and has worked as a physiotherapist at many of the leading London hospitals including the Royal London and Northwick Park.
